WHAT AGE GROUPS DO YOU SERVE?
SMOKEY BEAR KIDDY COLLEGE is a year-round program that offers all day care for children ages 12 months to 5 years. We are an approved Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) Provider.
DO YOU PROVIDE AFTERCARE?
We offer Aftercare, Full day during school breaks and holidays and Summer Camp, for school age children up to 11 years of age.
SMOKEY BEAR KIDDY COLLEGE picks up aftercare students from Duval Early Learning Academy, Fearnside Family Services Center, M.K. Rawlings, W.A. Metcalfe and Stephen Foster Elementary Schools.
CAN I VISIT THE SCHOOL?
Parents wishing to enroll their children in the center are always welcome to call and set up an appointment with the center office or on this website. Prospective families are encouraged to come and tour the center, meet the director and their child(ren)’s Lead Teacher(s).
Tours are scheduled at the parent’s convenience, however, due to rest time and in consideration of the children's daily routines, we encourage tours to be scheduled between 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Monday through Friday.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?
SMOKEY BEAR KIDDY COLLEGE is open from 6:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Our daily activities and program consists of a flexible schedule that has been created to provide diversity and challenge for children in all age groups. We offer a structured program for children of all ages that includes a year round curriculum. Our activities include school readiness skills, arts and crafts, games, music, outdoor play and story time.
